Feature (Product Specifications)
The SUNGOOD TECH PDC reamers are hole-enlargement tools that expand existing pilot boreholes to larger diameters using PDC cutters mounted on a multi-wing body. The reamer body is constructed from forged steel with Available diameters: 152mm to 311mm (6 to 12-1/4 inches).
Wing count: 3 or 4 depending on diameter and application.
PDC cutters: 1308 or 1313 1613 1913 series with spring-loaded cutter retention.
Connection: threaded for attachment to drill pipe or downhole hammer.
Body length: 400-600mm depending on size The reamer wings are hinged or fixed depending on model: fixed-wing reamers for stable ground, hinged-wing reamers for through-casing or retrieval through restricted boreholes. All reamers include circulation ports for cuttings flush.

Why PDC Reamers Matter:
- Casing & Cementing Readiness:
Primary function: creating optimal annular space for casing deployment and cementing. Uniform clearance ensures high-integrity zonal isolation—particularly vital in complex wells with tight tolerances. - Wellbore Quality Enhancement:
Corrects irregularities (e.g., spiraling, ovalization) to minimize sticking risks during logging, completion, or casing runs, elevating overall well integrity. - Advanced Completion Enablement:
Facilitates modern techniques like gravel-pack completions or oversized screens by delivering expanded diameters. - Technical Operation Support:
Essential for sidetracks, multilateral exits, and technologies like expandable liners requiring precise diameter adjustments.
Advantage:
- Polycrystalline Diamond Compact (PDC) cutters provide unmatched performance through:
- High-efficiency cutting: Rapid penetration in medium-hard formations with reduced WOB
- Extended durability: Superior abrasion resistance in sandy/quartz-rich strat
- Thermal resilience: Sustained performance in demanding downhole environments (with controlled parameters)
