1. Can you provide real field test videos (not just software demo), including actual survey and drilling results?
Reply: We will provide you with instructional videos that show every step in detail..
2. What is the typical success rate when used for groundwater drilling?
Reply: ADMT series groundwater detectors has been widely used for nearly 20 years. It has shown very good consistency with artificial electrical methods and is highly recognized by customers, especially in areas with poor grounding conditions where it often provides more accurate anomalies.
3. Is this a full resistivity system, or a simplified version? What electrode configuration does it use (Wenner or Schlumberger)?
Reply: This is a full-scale Audio Magnetotelluric (AMT) system, not a simplified DC resistivity system. It uses natural electromagnetic fields. Two measurement modes are supported: the electrode (MN) mode and the magnetic rod (TT) mode.
4. How many electrodes and cables are included in the package? What is the total cable length?
Reply: The standard package includes electrodes with a 2.5m spacing. Regarding the total cable length and exact quantity, they are customized based on the specific model (e.g., Single Channel, 16CH, 32CH) you choose. Please refer to the specific configuration list for your order.
5. Do you provide training or tutorials on how to use the device and interpret 2D/3D results?
Reply: Yes. The product comes with a detailed manual that guides you through device connection, setup, measurement, and 2D/3D imaging (contour maps, AI analysis, 3D slices). We can also provide remote guidance.
6. What electrode spacing is required to reach the maximum depth (e.g., 400m)?
Reply: To reach a maximum depth of 400m, you need the 5-meter spacing configuration. Our standard max spacing is 2.5m, but we offer optional 5m spacings for deeper exploration.
7. What are the limitations of this device?
Reply: Limitations include: The survey terrain should be as flat as possible (height difference <2m between adjacent points on slopes); must be kept away from high-voltage lines;rforma pence may be affected in areas with extremely poor grounding.
8. Does the system require calibration before use? If yes, how is it done?
Reply: No routine user calibration is required. The instrument comes factory-calibrated. You only need to perform data correction settings during operation as per the manual.
9. What exactly is included in the full package?
Reply: The standard full package includes: Host (10-inch Android display), Aluminum case, Shoulder strap, Charger, Data cable, Instruction manual, and Product catalog.
10. How does your after-sales support work?
Reply: We offer strong after-sales support:
- Warranty: 1 year for the main unit (free replacement for non-human damage), 2 years for the motherboard/screen/wireless probe.
- Lifetime Service: Lifetime maintenance for the host; if out of warranty, only cost price is charged.
- Support: We provide solutions within 24 hours.
11. Is it possible to see a live demonstration or actual test before purchase?
Reply: We can provide the user manual and instructional videos for this instrument, and complete the debugging process before shipment.
Additional Question: How to differentiate an aquifer from clay layers in the 2D/3D results?
Reply: In the 2D/3D imaging results, aquifers (water-bearing layers) and clay layers show distinct resistivity characteristics. Generally, aquifers appear as low-resistivity (dark/blue) zones due to the presence of water, while clay layers typically show higher resistivity (brighter/yellow/red) or distinct layer boundaries. Our software's AI analysis feature can also assist in automatically identifying these layers based on resistivity contrasts.
